The picture above was taken in 1954 shortly after my parents were married. They are on the grounds of the Austin Texas Capital building.

Mama was barely 16 years old and Daddy almost 19. Mama was 14 when she met Daddy and they were together from that time until he passed on many years ago. There is something to be said about a love like that.

How does one sum up who a person is in just a few words?

Like an epitaph is written to describe the sum of one's whole life...

It barely skims the surface of who that person really was...

I am so much more than just a Graphic Designer.

I am a loyal Friend, a Lover, a Confidant, a Teacher, a Mentor to some.

I am a Genealogist who believes in preserving old family treasures and stories
to pass down through the generations. Pictures are the window to our past.
They are priceless and can not be replaced. I really enjoy working with old family pictures.
Someday someone will love me for that. ;)

I am a daughter, a Mother of 3 grown children( still my babies ) I am a Sister, a Aunt and a Granny to 4 of the most beautiful little girls you have ever laid eyes on... Of course *grins* I grew up in Huntington Beach California, At 18 met and married an Australian and had my first 2 children in Sydney Australia. By the age of 24 I had my third child in California and a few years later after splitting with my husband moved to Lower Arkansas where I still reside. Presently my 2 daughters and their 3 babies live with me... And it can be a circus here. LOL Living in the country next door to Mama, We have a few secluded acres where the girls can run outside and play in the wading pool and sprinklers in their underwear... just like we used to do when I was a child.

Life is simple here...I like that~ LoL

I am a BBW and a Survivor of Weight loss Surgery which ruined my health
and I have a blog about it as there are few of us around to tell our story.

I'm in a relationship that is very complicated but it works for us.
We figure that that is all that really matters.

Recently I opened a new Network called (Personalized Graphic Design by Sparkles4u) for just a place to show my work and have friends that are Graphic freaks like myself to join and share with each other. Well an amazing thing happened. It's started growing. LOL I have to give a large thanks to those who have helped to promote my work by allowing me to be a part of their networks and also for making me feel right at home. The Artists Salon There are many Talented Artists here and many forms of art on display. Caz and Wendy over at The Pall Bearers Society. Have been awesome in promoting my work by hosting it on their PhotoCasket site . There you will see a sprinkling of my work in various categories. OMG these people are a trip! LOL But a lot of fun!!! I have to say I am not really into Goth but really enjoy dark graphics as well as a huge variety of cultural art.

Since my newest Web site went up I have been asked to join a LOT more Networks and LoL I am trying to keep up.
My Newest favorite is Christian Vision. The people there are so awesome and loving!!!

Lastly I will finish in saying that One thing you should know about me is that I float my own boat.
I don't fit in some cookie cutter world. I believe in live and let live.

If you are Gay, Straight, Bi, Christian, Jewish, Pagan, Black, White, Purple, I really don't care. It's your heart I care about.

If you are into Heavy Metal, Rap, Hip Hop, or Country... doesn't matter to me. That's not what friendship is all about... Is it? I am 50 years old and have learned that I don't have to follow the leader. I am my own Leader... There is really only ONE person that I have to answer too when my life is over.... And HE and I have a wonderful love for each other. *smiles* I am BLESSED!!!
